2024 DHX30 Family Conference

Step into the heart of our second DHX30 Family Conference, where families and caregivers affected by the rare genetic disorder DHX30 gather for a transformative experience. With fewer than 100 diagnosed cases worldwide, we share our stories, delve into groundbreaking DHX30 research, and bask in the family-friendly amenities the Great Wolf Lodge has to offer. Join us in creating memories, forging connections, and amplifying the voice of the DHX30 community. Conference Schedule:

Tuesday, April 30th - This is an ARRIVAL TRAVEL DAY, we anticipate most attendees will arrive on this day.  Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. however, you can arrive at the lodge anytime this day.  The lodge is quite accommodating and has a luggage storage area. This means that you can safely store your belongings and start enjoying the lodge and all that it has to offer while you wait.  They even recommend if you are hoping to enjoy the waterpark, pack your "water gear" in your carry-on so it is easily accessible. We will have a check-in and a casual meet-up from 6-8 pm that evening (location TBD).

Wednesday, May 1st - This is DAY ONE of our conference.  For groups that arrive after check-in the evening before or early in the morning, we will host a check-in this morning as well starting at 8:00 a.m. We expect that the conference will run from approximately 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The specifics of this day's agenda and speakers are still being planned. We will update this section as well as send updates to registered attendees as the daily agendas are finalized. 

Thursday, May 2nd - This is DAY TWO of our conference.  We expect that the conference will run from approximately 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The specifics of this day's agenda and speakers are still being planned. We will update this section as well as send updates to registered attendees as the daily agendas are finalized. Departure flights can be booked on the evening of this day. 

Friday, May 3rd - This is a DEPARTURE TRAVEL DAY, we anticipate attendees will depart Thursday evening or this day.  Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. The lodge is quite accommodating and has a luggage storage area. This means that you can safely store your belongings and continue to enjoy the lodge for the remainder of the day until your departure.  We are thinking of planning a goodbye meet-up on the morning of this day - we will keep everyone updated.
